The Classical Concert Webcast Page

Scope of this website:
The main emphasis of this webpage is on the music of the late romantics such as Mahler, Bruckner, and Strauss. However, additional webcasts of interest to me as well as others that I have the time to fit into the website will also be listed. Sources of the listings are primarily from highbandwidth sources, with secondary sources being those with unique programming. Emphasis is on "Live" or "Delayed" concerts rather than commercial recordings. Listings of syndicated "delayed" concerts are also included. Completeness is not guaranteed as this website is maintained on a "my time available basis."

Station-Listings (Sources) will now indicate when the broadcast page was last updated for stations. (temporarily suspended 8/08)

If you are interested in opera, choral, vocal webcasts, check out the Operacast website.

Sept. 15, 2007: While doing some browsing tonight, I came across another website that aggregates listings of classical music among other things. It might be of interest. RadioWave

News about this website

06/29/2009 Important: Google will no longer be supporting the html format files I'm using for the website, so I haven't been updating the listings.  At this time I'm not sure if I can format the listings using the new Google Sites web applications to my satisfaction.  My other option is to find a new hosting service, but I need to do some research on this. Regardless, the site will be down till further notice. Check back on or about July 15, 2009 for more information at http://classwebcast.googlepages.com/

04/11/2009 Sorry for the lack of updates of late. Work & home commitments have been keeping me from working on the site.

Sunday March 8 at 0200 local time most of North America goes to Daylight Saving Time.

Sunday March 29 at 0100 UTC Europe goes to Summer Time.

If you know of any improved streams to any of the listed websites,  please let me know. Trying to keep the listings updated during festival season has meant that I haven't much time to play around with the various on-line streams.
